June 1, 2009	Athletes, Coaches, and Officials are reminded that the CJL State Championships will take place this coming Saturday, June 6^th at the Northglenn Recreation Center. Complete information can be found on the Event Schedule page. Early Weigh-in schedule is as follows: Thursday night, June 4, 2009: 1. Boulder Judo Training Center from 4:30 – 7:00 PM – 3070 28th St., Suite D, Boulder 2. OTC in Colorado Springs from 6:30 – 7:30 PM—One Olympic Plaza, Colorado Springs 3. Northglenn Recreation Center from 7:00 – 8:00 PM—11801 Community Ctr. Dr., Northglenn All weigh-ins will be conducted to rules set by the Colorado Judo League. IMPORTANT: ONLY weigh-in will be conducted at the above sites, no registration forms or fees will be taken. You must either send your entry form and fees in by mail (early registration discount applies if postmarked by Friday, May 29th) OR bring your entry form and fees to registration on the day of competition.

May 8, 2009	The entry package for the CJL State Championship can be found on the Event Schedule.
May 8, 2009	The Denver Classic Tournament has been tentatively scheduled for October 24th
May 8, 2009	The Denver Buddist Temple Novice Tournament has been scheduled for October 10th
May 6, 2009	The CJL Promotion Committee has scheduled its next promotion activity for August 8^th. Details can be obtained on the Promotion Info page. A link to USA Judo’s new promotion guidelines has also been placed on the promotion info page.
April 26, 2009	The Intermountain Judo Championship is scheduled for May 15-16 in Salt Lake City.  Information can be obtained on the Event Schedule page.
April 26, 2009	Online Registration is now available for the OTC Classic, scheduled for May 9th, in Colorado Springs has added
April 24, 2009	CJL has scheduled it’s next meeting for Sunday, May 24, 2009, 1-4 PM; in the CR Bank Room East at the Castle Rock Library, Castle Rock, CO.
April 23, 2009	The Colorado Judo League State Championships will be held on June 6^th at the Northglenn Recreation Center. An entry form will be available soon.
April 14, 2009	Results of the Colorado Springs Classic are available.
April 13, 2009	The entry package for the 2009 OTC Classic, scheduled to be held on May 9^th is available on the Event Schedule page.
April 13, 2009	DBT Dojo has scheduled a CPR and First Aid Class for May 2^nd. Details can be found on the Event Schedule page.
April 13, 2009	Results of the Northglenn Judo Championship are available.
March 20, 2009	A team of 20 junior athletes from Tahiti will be in the Colorado April 8^th to the 11^th. They will be training at clubs and participating in the Northglenn Championship according to the following schedule: Wed, April 8: Training at Denver Dojo; 7-9 PM (everyone is invited to participate) Thurs, April 9: Training at Ju Shin Kan, Colo. Springs, 5:30 – 7:00 PM (everyone is invited to participate) Sat, April 11: Compete in 41^st annual Northglenn Championship.
March 20, 2009	To all Club Coaches: Trophies that were not awarded at the Hyland Hills Throwdown event will be available at the March 28^th Colorado Classic in Colo. Springs and the April 11^th Northglenn Championship. Please contact Kari Gabrielle at these events to obtain your trophies.
March 16, 2009	The Tournament scheduled for March 28^th in Colorado Springs has been renamed the First Colorado Springs Classic and will be held at the Pikes Peak Christian School in Colorado Springs. A complete entry package can be found on the Event Schedule.
March 9, 2009	Denver Judo will hold a fundraiser at the dojo on April 4^th. The evening will feature a comedy show by hypnotist Steven Mills. Learn more about the show in this flyer.

February 27, 2009	The Northglenn Championships entry package has been revised to add hotel headquarters pricing, deadline, and contact information. Refer to the link on the Event Schedule.
February 27, 2009	The OTC tournament has been rescheduled for March 28^th. An entry form will be published soon.
February 23, 2009	The OTC tournament scheduled for March 7^th has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.
February 19, 2009	Announcing a summer International Judo Camp to be held June 8-14 at the YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch between Winter Park and Granby. A link to details can be found on the Event Schedule. The camp is open to all skill levels.
February 18, 2009	The written test contained within the CJL Promotion Guide (link at the bottom of the Promotion Info page) has been modified to reflect the competition rule changes that came into effect on January 1, 2009.
February 17, 2009	Registration for the 2009 State Games of America, held in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain State Games on August 1st, is now open. Refer to the Event Schedule for a link to that website.
February 16, 2009	The Entry Package for the 41^st Northglenn Championship has been revised to reflect entry fee discounts, and coed divisions for Bantam 1 and 2. Refer to the Event Schedule for a copy of the new package.

January 8, 2008	Waivers for both the Denver Buddhist Temple and Denver Judo sessions are available on the Kan Geiko announcement page. It will save time if these waivers are printed out and signed in advance of arriving at those sessions.
January 7, 2008	The OTC Judo Club has scheduled a tournament for May 9, 2009. Details will be forthcoming.
January 7, 2008	CJL 2009 Kan Geiko “Winter Training” has been scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2009 through Friday, February 6^th. Kan Geiko is an annual event where judoka from around Colorado get the opportunity to train with many of the local clubs. Judoka of all ages and experience levels are welcome! January 5, 2009	A revised entry form for the 2009 Kickoff Tournament is posted. Revisions/Clarifications/Reminders are as follows: 1) Definition of Novice is modified; 2) There will be no registration at early weigh-in. Athletes must either mail in their entry form and fees or bring them to the tournament; 3) Divisions 8yrs and under will be co-ed (boys AND girls combined.)
